FUTURE OUTLOOK

AUPS is looking forward to an expanding base of new products designed to AUPS's market-driven standards. AUPS's technical committees and working group structure will bring relevant standards to the marketplace in a timely manner. AUPS will soon establish a track record of creating and supporting standards for today's Consumer electronics industry to provide the consumer with the confidence necessary to continue to explore new technology standards which will benefit the industry in the future.

As more entities become AUPS members and have a voice in standardization initiatives, more end-users will have the ability to take advantage of easy-to- use advanced power supplies. The consumer charging experience will be heightened and confusion and difficulty in charging our CE devices will diminish. Manufacturers will be able to reduce development costs, and vendors will enjoy increased sales and greater margins.

For years to come, AUPS will be one of the foremost standards organizations emphasizing excellence and ensuring the maintenance and enhancement of power supply standards.
