THE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM
Members of the Alliance for Universal Power Supplies Drive the World Towards an Open Systems for PowerMembers join the Alliance for Universal Power Supplies (AUPS) to develop and promote an open systems model for the power supply and electronics products industry. The AUPS focuses on re-usable, efficient, and multi-port power solutions and encourages innovation and reusability, thus resulting in a more environmentally friendly means of powering consumer electronics globally.
Voting representation is granted to each corporate member for active participation so that the foremost technology innovation can leverage the collective membership wisdom and ideas.
Marketing and public relations support are provided by AUPS to promote published standards and enable participating companies to announce involvement in the organization and incorporation of the approved technology into their products and services. AUPS will communicate with the membership its activities and inform the public about current standards publications and upcoming proposals.
Industry responsiveness will be a major factor in AUPS's success. With the goal to achieve multiple standards annually, AUPS will prove its ability to address industry demands in the power supply field in a manner consistent with the changing needs and requirements.
Technical Specialists that will be involved in AUPS are among the industry's most qualified technologists and will form an extensive on-line membership outreach program.

Membership Levels:
Associate - Free
- Individual association with AUPS and ability to actively participate in helping AUPS achieve its mission and objectives.
- Each member receives the benefit of being connected with industry specialists throughout the world via the AUPS network.
- Ability to attend all AUPS general meetings and activities
- Ability to participate on a AUPS Task Group
- Access to AUPS Working Website, news, and discussion groups
Member - $1,000/year
- Corporate association with AUPS and ability to actively participate in helping AUPS achieve its mission and objectives
- Each member company receives the benefit of being connected with industry specialists throughout the world via the AUPS network
- Member company is recognized as a Corporate Member on AUPS Website
- Ability to participate on a AUPS Task Group
- 5 slots for individuals from company to participate in AUPS general activities
- 1 vote per corporate member for General Assembly decisions
- Access to AUPS Working Website, news, and discussion groups
