THE STANDARDS INITIATIVES & TASK GROUPS
AUPS is positioned as a true public private partnership and because of this is destined to become one of the leading standards organizations in the electronics industry, AUPS is committed to developing and promoting standards in the key focus areas dealing with AC to DC power supplies. All AUPS standards will be created by its technical committees, which consist of hardware and software professionals drawn from high technology companies around the world. Each committee will be structured into technical task groups whose goals are to focus on specific technical requirements for developing a standards proposal. The proposals will be reviewed by the entire body and, when approved, be submitted to the general membership for ratification. Each AUPS parent member is given one vote.
